Do I Need a Consultation Before My Fitting?

Yes! A consultation is required before we fit your extensions. This allows us to assess the health of your scalp and hair, check for any contraindications, and tailor the approach to help you achieve the best results. Consultations typically take around 15 minutes.

Are There Any Additional or Hidden Charges?

For new clients, a free consultation is included to discuss your specific needs, the duration of your appointment, the cost of the hair, and any additional services such as a trim or a deep cleansing wash.

How Long Do the Extensions Last?

Our hair extensions are designed to last approximately a year, depending on their condition. The hair remains in perfect condition after the initial fitting and each subsequent refit.

The reason clients often choose to replace their extensions is not because the hair itself has lost quality or shine, but because their natural hair changes over time. As your own hair grows, the extensions shift upward, and the colour may also change, especially at the roots. After some time, new hair is needed to maintain an exact colour match and achieve the desired length.

Clients who add significant length initially may be able to wear the same extensions for up to a year, while those adding a more subtle length may require new extensions sooner.

How long will it take to transform my colour?

Full Head Colour (tint):

Applying colour to your entire head of hair can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on hair length and texture.

Highlights, Lowlights, Balayage, Babylights, and Ombre:

These techniques require more time because the colour is applied strategically to create dimension and contrast.

Depending on the desired effect and the length of your hair, the process can take 90 minutes to 3 hours.

Root Touch-Up:

If you’re touching up your roots to cover grey hair or to maintain your current colour, the application process typically takes around 30 to 60 minutes.

These times are a general guideline however during your consultation we will give you an accurate time for your treatment.

Do I Have to Have a Refit? Can I Take a Break and Refuse a Refit?

No, you don’t have to have a refit if you prefer to take a break. Some clients enjoy having a break from extensions, either due to lifestyle changes or to reduce the cost of wearing extensions year-round. We can package your hair with labels to ensure it's easy to re-fit at a later date, with no commitment.

However, please keep in mind that if you change your hair colour or get a dramatic haircut, it may not be possible to achieve the same look using the same hair. Over time, your own hair can change significantly in colour, so a refit may require new extensions for a better match.

Can You Refit Extensions From Another Salon?

We do not refit extensions that were fitted by another salon. However, we do offer a one-time removal service for extensions that were applied elsewhere, followed by hair treatments like Olaplex or Nanokeratin blow-drys to help nourish and repair your natural hair.
